BoE Has Kept Interest Rate Unchanged at 0.25%

The British pound has jumped after the Bank of England left the key interest rate at 0.25%, but at the same time, according to the protocols, three of the bank's eight executives voted to raise rates. The pound is trading near 1.27 level.

Representatives of the Bank of England said that the increase of the key rate will be gradual and limited. The central bank of Great Britain predicts that inflation may rise above 3% by autumn and is likely to remain above the target level for a long time.
