Euro Has Decreased After Eurozone Economic Data Release

The euro has declined slightly and is trading at the level of 1.1150. The producer price index (PPI) of Germany fell by 0.2%. This is the first decline in the indicator since September 2016. The Eurozone’s current account surplus fell to EUR 22.2 billion in April from EUR 35.7 billion in March. This is the lowest level since November 2014.

The party of French President Emmanuel Macron won in the second round of the parliamentary elections. Macron’s party En Marche received 61% of the vote and will have up to 80% of seats in the National Assembly.
