Theresa May Has Got First Failure in Brexit Talks

The EU's chief negotiator for Brexit Michel Barnier warned that the consequences of Britain's withdrawal from the EU would be significant. On the first day of negotiations, the government of Prime Minister Theresa May filed a request with the EU to discuss the Brexit conditions.

The UK wants to keep access to the common market of Europe and plans to sign a new trade agreement with the EU. However, Michel Barnier said that the new trade agreement will not be reached before the end of the exit of Britain from the EU, at least two years. This was Theresa May's first failure in the Brexit talks.
