Stock Markets in Asia Stay Unsteady
Stock indices of the Asia-Pacific region traded mixed, after lackluster signals from Wall Street and a slight increase in crude oil prices from ten-month lows. Oil fell by about 25% compared to its recent highs, observed in January.
Trades on the Tokyo Stock Exchange opened with a slight decline on the background of weak trading results in the US. The indices of Shanghai and Sydney lost 0.1%, shares in Singapore fell by 0.3%.
