European Major Currencies Have Strengthened Against US Dollar
The euro has strengthened significantly after a number of central bankers hinted at the end of the easing of monetary policy that have been in place since the financial crisis.
The European single currency rose to annual highs on Wednesday after ECB President Mario Draghi offered a more furious forecast for the Eurozone than expected. At the beginning of trading in Asia, the euro has exceeded the level of 1.14 for the first time since June last year.
The British pound rose after the Bank of England chief Mark Carney hinted at a rate hike. The pound exceeded the $1.30 mark for the first time in a month.
