Rise of Unemployment Claims

The US jobless claims have mildly increased. Still, they stay at yearly minimums. Initial jobless claims rose 4,000 to a seasonally adjusted 248,000. New applications for pensions have been holding under 300,000 for 122 consecutive weeks, marking the longest period since the early 1970s. The average of new fillings during the prior month, lifted 750 to 243,000. Continuing claims indicated 2M for already 12th consecutive week. This hasn’t happened since 1973. Experts project +179,000 new jobs in June.
