EUR/USD Pair Stays Near 1.14 Level

The euro remains stable and is trading near the level of 1.14. There are no important economic news from the euro area today. Investors expect data on the number of open vacancies in the US labor market (JOLTS).

Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen will testify before the House Financial Services Committee tomorrow. Markets expect the Fed to raise interest rates until the end of 2017. According to the CME Group, the chances of a rate hike in December are 50%.

Data on the US employment showed last week that the number of jobs in the non-agricultural sector increased by 222.000, with a forecast of 175.000. Nevertheless, wage growth remained at 0.2%.
