Stock Indices of Asia Have Increased
Stock indices in the Asia-Pacific region mostly traded higher, after rising quotations on Wall Street on Friday. Unstable US economic data last week caused the dollar’s fall to the lowest level in 10 months.
China's shares fell more than 2% at the beginning of trading, but then recovered after data on the Chinese GDP. The National Bureau of Statistics of China reported that gross domestic product increased by 6.9% in the second quarter, and was higher than the forecast of economists, who expected growth of 6.8%.
Australian stocks fell by 0.3%, while South Korea's KOSPI increased by 0.3%.
