Asian Shares Start Week With Decrease

Stock indices of the Asia-Pacific region are trading mostly with a decline, after negative signals from Wall Street and European markets, as well as against the fall in crude oil prices on Friday.

The euro is trading at the highest level in two years ($1.1677), while the US dollar fell to a 13-month minimum.

Australian shares fell by 0.2%. Japan's stock index Nikkei fell by 0.8% against the background of the strength of the Japanese yen. The European stocks also closed lower. The German DAX index fell by 1.7, because of strength of the euro.
