DAX Index Falling, Final Rejection of Trump’s Healthcare Bill

DAX has declined 0.79% and it’s now trading at 12,125. Today, Germany will release Preliminary Consumer Price Index and the United States will announce Advance Gross Domestic Product. Euro has been riding on positive data from the biggest Eurozone economy. GfK German Consumer Climate rose to 10.8 this month. The figures have improved consumer spending. Still, inflation is weak, requiring some policy tightening from the ECB. Yesterday, Trump’s healthcare bill was rejected for the last time as 3 Republican lawmakers opposed it. Fed says the economy is growing gradually, the full employment might be reached very soon but the inflation is still at the low level. Members might taper the balance sheet of USD 4.2T in September. December’s rate hike is becoming more and more unlikely, with odds indicating 47%.
