Stock Indices of Asia Have Decreased

Stock indices of the Asia-Pacific region fell after mixed signals from Wall Street. Investors focused on the results of regional corporate revenues.

The Japanese market is declining amid the fall of the high-tech Nasdaq index in the US. A stronger yen has also a negative impact on the shares of exporters. The stock index of Japan Nikkei 225 decreased by 0.4% to 19.994.54.

The index of South Korea Kospi fell by 1.2%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng lost 0.5%, while the Shanghai Composite index in mainland China declined 0.1%.

The US data showed that orders for durable goods have reached the highest growth in the past three years over the past three months. Markets are expecting the estimate of the second-quarter GDP growth and a report on employment from the US. All these data the Fed will take into account when deciding on interest rates.
