US Dollar Fell to 2-Month Minimum Against Japanese Yen

The US dollar fell to the lowest level in two months against the Japanese yen. The dollar fell 0.15% today, to 109,065 yen. Yesterday, the US currency fell by 0.7% against the yen. The Japanese yen is rapidly strengthening against the backdrop of an escalation of tensions between the United States and North Korea.

Low US Treasury yields also affects state of the dollar. The yield of 10-year US government bonds fell by 2.197%, which is the lowest level since June 28.
