This week, we’ll take a look at a batch of important data, particularly the US one. Today, the US will publish official and ISM manufacturing PMI indices and construction spending. Fed members, such as Janet Yellen, Robert Kaplan, Jerome Powell, John Williams, Patrick Harker, Esther George, Raphael Bostic, William Dudley, James Bullard and Eric Rosengren will deliver their speeches. Today, it’s Robert Kaplan’s turn. The single currency has declined due to the Catalonian referendum. Preliminary results marked 90% votes for independence. British manufacturing PMI lowered to 55.9 from 56.7, which in turn has muted the Pound. The currency is also weaker as the Conservative party will have a conference Manchester.
