US Dollar Remains in a Narrow Range Versus Major Currencies

The US dollar is trading in a narrow range relative to major currencies. The US currency sharply strengthened on Friday in response to statistics on the US labor market, but soon lost all the earned positions amid reports of North Korea preparing for the next launch of a missile that could fly to the west coast of the United States.

The dollar held steady against the Japanese yen, departing from the 12-week highs set last week. A new focus on geopolitical tensions helped to support safe assets, in particular the Japanese yen.
