Talks on US-Japan Free Trade Deal Will Begin Next Week

Representatives of the Japanese government said that Japanese Deputy Prime Minister Taro Aso and US Vice President Mike Pence are likely to begin negotiations about a bilateral free trade agreement next week. The second round of economic dialogue at a high level, scheduled for October 16 in Washington.

It is expected, that politicians will discuss areas of economic cooperation, such as Japan's participation in infrastructure projects in the US, the export of US energy sources, such as liquid natural gas to Japan, and the promotion of high-tech trade.
