US Political Problems Caused Decrease of the Dollar
Most Asian currencies rose today amid a decline in the US dollar after investigators probing Russia's interference in the US elections had charged President Donald Trump's former campaign manager. The US dollar fell to the lowest level in a week against the Japanese yen, while the dollar index, which measures the dollar against six rivals, was slightly higher.
The South Korean won rose to the highest level in two months. The Taiwan dollar was trading 0.2% higher, ahead of preliminary data on economic growth in the third quarter.
