The German DAX Index Grew by 1.61%

Germany's DAX stock index has published good results today after positive corporate earnings releases. The DAX increased by 1.61% and is trading at the level of 13.442.00. The DAX continues to set record highs and since October 23 has risen by 3.2%. Most companies on the DAX are showing gains, including BMW (1.56%), Daimler (1.92%), Infineon (3.43%) and Volkswagen (2.55%).

Published earlier data showed that the volume of retail sales in Germany increased by 0.5% in September 2017 compared to the previous month. On an annual basis, retail sales in Germany rose by 4.1% in September.

Markets remain focused on the US Federal Reserve's statement on monetary policy. Data on the Germany's and the Eurozone Manufacturing PMI will be published tomorrow.
