DAX Index Starts the Week With a Decline

European stock indexes declined today, while investors focused on income reports and monitored political problems in the UK. The German DAX index fell by 0.90% and is trading at the level of 13.009.50. Tomorrow Germany and the Eurozone publish reports on GDP for the third quarter. It is expected, that both indicators will show an increase of 0.6%.

The German economy remains stable in 2017, supported by solid consumer demand. Germany's economic growth also contributes to growth in the euro area. While geopolitical problems, such as the referendum in Catalonia and the UK's withdrawal from the EU, can lead to the collapse of the EU, the economic indicators of the Eurozone tend to grow.
