European Union Will Lay Out Its Brexit Vision
Tomorrow, the European Union will release a 100-page draft Brexit treaty, which will lay out EU view on the whole divorce process. It has already got a lot of criticism from Theresa May, as it doesn’t include some of her demands. Prime Minister and her administration claim the document shows how the EU is “trying to push its agenda, rather than producing something that reflects the positions of both sides”. Recently, Brexit entered the so-called ‘transitional period’. But, according to one German policymaker, twenty seven-members of the European Parliament stand against the proposal to prolong that period. We are yet to see what will the draft treaty conclude.
