Overall, Italians Would Like To Stay In Eurozone
According to 2 surveys, taken by Euromedia and Piepoli organizations for state television Rai's "Porta a Porta" program broadcast, some 60-72% of Italians want to remain in the eurozone. 23-34% would like to change the currency. The Euromedia poll unveiled that 60% want to stay in the euro, 24% want to drop and 16% haven’t made up their minds. The Piepoli poll showed that 72% of Italians wanted to save the common currency, 23% wanted to change it and 5% haven’t decided yet.
