US Dollar Has Increased Slightly
The US dollar has strengthened slightly after positive comments from New York Fed President William Dudley. The economist said that the labor market in the country is close to full employment, and wages will gradually increase.
ECB Governing Council member Jan Smets expressed concern that inflation expectations remain rather low, despite the fact that the core inflation is growing.
Data from Japan showed that trade surplus narrowed to -203 billion Japanese yen in May. The export of goods from Japan increased by 14.9% yoy. Import grew by 17.8% yoy.
