British Pound Has Declined After Weak PMI Data
The rebound of the US dollar continues today, as the markets are waiting for the FOMC protocol. Markets are waiting for clues about the future monetary policy of the US Federal Reserve.
The British pound has weakened against the US dollar after the release of weak Services PMI data. The UK Services PMI fell to 53.4 in June. The British retail consortium (BRC) said that prices in UK stores fell by 0.3% compared to the previous year.
Eurozone services PMI was finalized at 55.4 in June. German services PMI grew to 54.0, higher than the forecast of 53.7.
