Single Currency Drops, Greenback Tries To Reinforce
Loonie along with Australian dollar is firm. The single currency declined, reacting to Catalonia regional election. Three Catalonian parties (Together for Catalonia, Republican Left of Catalonia and Popular Unity) won 70 seats in the parliament out of 135. Still, that doesn’t solve the division and political crisis in the region. The greenback tries to recommence but remains soft. Today, the currency can only be boosted by Private Capital Expenditure report.
China steel futures keep rising. The most active rebar futures exceed 2%. Iron ore price on the Dalian Commodity Exchange increased 0.4%. Germany is about to announce Gfk consumer sentiment, Swiss will feature KOF economic barometer, Britain will show current account balance and final Gross Domestic Product of the third quarter, Canada will also present GDP and the US will publish personal income and spending, private capital expenditure, durable goods and new home sales.
